Dr. Matt Daugherty, Extension Specialist, Department of Entomology, University of California, Riverside, USA. Matt is a Cooperative Extension Specialist in the Department of Entomology at the University of California, Riverside. He received a B.S. from UC Davis, M.S. from Illinois State University, and Ph.D. from UC Berkeley. Matt’s research and extension activities focus on the ecology and management of invasive insects and vector-borne plant diseases. Recent projects include studies of the factors driving Pierce’s disease resurgence in Northern California vineyards, the invasion dynamics of the Asian citrus psyllid, and risk assessment of a moth pest complex in California vineyards.
