Eleventh seminar of the new Xylella Seminar Series jointly organised by the EU funded Bexyl project, EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) and Auburn University.  Alberto Fereres, ICA-CSIC, Madrid (Spain), gave a presentation entitled An American sharpshooter in Europe: Draeculacephala robinsoni. This research focuses on the transmission of Xylella fastidiosa by the vector Draeculacephala robinsoni, which was recently introduced from the USA to northeastern Spain.
